We really enjoyed the lovely bathtubs and the beautiful garden in the back, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The cozy atmosphere of the dining area really made our meals enjoyable. Plus, witnessing the aurora for the first time was a magical experience, thanks to the staff's thoughtful notifications.

Every time in Fludir, I choose this place. This is a nicely appointed and beautiful designed hotel with competent staff at the reception desk. Superior queen room is nicely decorated, has a spacious bathroom. The location is magnificent and beautiful, just a pleasant stroll away from Samkaup-Strax. The venue has got a good restaurant with good food.
Their breakfast is average, can definitely be improved.

good stay with room for improvement
The hotel offered a clean environment! It felt comfortable thanks to the modern decor in the room. The garden view provided a nice backdrop.
The bathroom decor seemed dated compared to the rest.

As a overnight-stop on our trip throu Iceland it is absolutely o.k.
Staff was a little "reserved", especially the breakfast crew hardly opened their mouth. The dinner crew was more talkative ... Maybe the Icelandic Way :-))

The units are tastefully decorated, fashionable with hot tub and English TV channels. There is an above average breakfast for a start. The location is central, just off which has the cash to spend on improvements, an amazing valley and garden.

The restaurant served delicious meals, especially the acclaimed mushroom soup that should not be missed. The absence ofa fridge and kettle in the room was a bit inconvenient.

The room had a nice "chalet" feel and our own private patio, unexpected and good. Consider asking for a room with a mountain view for a better experience.

nice hotel in a good location... 2 hot-pots putside (with 38 oC water)... pity a bit that breakfast is not included in price... other than that no issues at all... recommended hotel...

One of the things I like is that you have a small patio - private - outside your room and the common facilities are also very nice.

Can't recommend staff enough. Made an error on my booking online and when I turned up on a different day to the booking, the manager moved the booking with no extra charges, even though the booked day had already passed. Dinner superb, with large windows to watch spectacular Icelandic sunsets.

The Hotel is a stricking new building positioned nicely on a small hillside. Nice views from the restaurant over the countryside. The rooms are are of reasonable size, clean and look out over a pleasant central courtyard.
I was dissappointed when we arrived mid afternoon and were told that nothing was available not even a cup of coffee until 6.30pm. We were directed to the local supermarket across the road or the local golf club about 10mins drive away where there was a snackbar. There was no tea or coffe facilities in the room either. I suppose I must accept that this is the only hotel in the area and is rated as 3 star.
